The nose on this is round and super tropical, with a lot of ripeness. Then there's a lot of crunchy red fruits buried underneath, underripe raspberry, cranberry, and a little bit of white strawberry. The palate is deliciously crisp, but with a little bit of a weightier mouthfeel, giving this a little bit more presence. Still with crunchy red fruits, there's a little bit of watermelon and strawberry in the finish. As the finish keeps going, it becomes just a little bit pithy, making me really want to have a little nosh with it to make the whole thing complete. Really a compelling bottle of rose at just $20, and definitely something with a little bit more panache and presence than some of the other options at this price point. Definitely worth giving a try if you like that balance of ripe nose and crisper palate.
