Wine Enthusiast
Reviewed December 2025Jubilant yellow apple and freshly-sliced Anjou pear aromas lift from the glass along with subtle undertones of flint and wild herbs. Lemon citrus washes across river stone and completes with a saline-sprinkled finish. Pair with fried anchovies, Caesar salad and grilled chicken. (RS)

The new Cotes Blanches is delightfully nervy. Great tension in this wine and has a lovely texture. Flavors of white peach and lime peel give nuance to the mineral driven frame. This has a deep middle core of fruit that opens further if given a little more air. Don't rush through this bottle, there are secrets down deep here. Will drink even better in a year or two.
Notes
Domaine des Côtes Blanches Sancerre, crafted by Nicolas Millet in Bué, is a vibrant Sauvignon Blanc sourced from 5.78 hectares of organically farmed vineyards, grown on diverse soils including Caillottes and Buzançais limestone. Vinified without added sulfur, using slow pressing, aging on lees in stainless steel for 4 to 8 months, and gentle gravity-flow bottling, this Sancerre delivers a pure, authentic expression of its terroir.
