The 2023 Walter Scott Cuvée Ruth Pinot Noir from the Eola-Amity Hills was aged for 10 months in 40% new French oak and crafted from several vineyard sites across the AVA. Aromas of wild cherry, red currant, and rose petal mingle with crushed stone and hints of orange zest. The palate is vibrant yet refined, showing layers of raspberry, plum skin, and subtle spice over a backbone of mineral-driven energy. With bright acidity and a silky texture, this Pinot Noir feels both approachable and finely detailed, carrying freshness through the finish.

A terrific wine, the 2023 ‘Cuvee Ruth’ comes from a range of sites throughout the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. Rich red and dark fruits combine with salty soils and loads of minerals, with citrus peel accents. This is already beautifully-defined stuff, with terrific acidity and a smooth mouthfeel.
