It flows across the palate with an undertow of deep dark fruit--black currant, blackberry, licorice, leather, and a faint hint of game--lifted by delicate notes of lilac. This is a Bordeaux-lover’s Montepulciano: rich in flavor and mouthfeel, yet balanced enough to pair beautifully with roasted pork or lamb, beef brisket, or a juicy burger.
