Château Branaire-Ducru, located in the renowned Saint-Julien appellation of the Haut-Médoc region, is a prestigious fourth-growth wine estate dating back to 1680. Originally founded by Jean-Baptiste Braneyre, the property has been under the ownership of Patrick Maroteaux since 1988, who expanded the estate and modernized its winemaking facilities. Today, with François-Xavier Maroteaux at the helm, the estate spans 125 acres and produces elegant wines primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.
