The nose is a heady mix of fall leaves, dark (and ripe) black fruits, turned earth and roasted black plums. In the mouth, it begins softly and smoothly with just a bit of tart earthiness on the tip of the tongue. The dark plums are more evident here, with a rich background of chocolate black cherry and subtle meat tenderizing spices. This aspect is very faint and pleasing.
