Bottled in February 2024, the 2023 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc unwinds with ripe pear, quince, spring blossom, lemon flesh and fennel. Medium-bodied at most, the refreshing 2023 hits the palate with lively acidity, which can partially be traced back to blocked malolactic conversion. This is a lovely white Châteauneuf-du-Pape with modest 13.74% alcohol. (NG)
