2016 Michel Arnould "Heuristique" Grand Cru Champagne Magnum 1.5L

This champagne used to be called "carte d'or". The Heuristique from Arnould makes up less than 2% of their small production, and they don't produce it every year- magnums are even more scarce. Patrick Arnould trades grapes with Delphine Cazals for this wine, which is 50% Mesnil Grand Cru from her estate, and 50% old vine Pinot Noir from the Arnould estate in Verzenay. Our allocation is tiny, and this Champagne is capable of very long ageing. We only recieved 18 magnums! -Gary Westby, K&L
