Light and savory nose with soft red fruits, green tea leaves and a handful of potpourri. There's something flighty and appealing about the nose, there's a real freshness present. The palate is bright and fleshy with juicy pomegranate, raspberry and some lingering granite earthiness intermingling with all the fruit. This is such an interesting wine and feels very true to the varietal, not trying to be anything that it isn't. I would have this with a richer chicken dish or maybe even salmon with a heavier sauce. You could definitely throw this in the freezer for a few minutes just to put a slight chill on it if you wanted, it's just a versatile little tasty guy.
