This unusual little hogshead of Tauchers may not offer the value play on paper that the other younger malts in this series can, but what it will do is change (or form) your opinions about Glentauchers. This unusual hogshead was distilled on July 17th of 2008 and despite only being 16 years old, it turned out just 96 bottles. It's unusual to see a hogshead at this age turn out less than 250 bottles. Nearly 70% of the original contents of this barrel has evaporated. The resulting whisky is completely unique. Offering one of the richest, creamiest Tauchers we've ever experienced. Bottled in on July 29th, 2024, at a natural cask strength of 54.5%. No chillfiltration or color added.
