If you associate Malbec with big "fruit bomb" style wines, think again. This Malbec from Farella Estate has more in common with a fine Cahors. Concentrated and dark, with black fruits, herbs, rustic earth and a nice top palate of clean tannin. Long finish of blackberries and dried herbs. Nicely complex and very drinkable. As a bonus, it should cellar very well for another 5 plus years.
