Note: from the regional portion of Champ Franc in Gevrey. Soft wood sets off the fresh and ripe aromas of red and dark pinot fruit along with a whiff of earth. The delicious middleweight flavors possess an appealing sense of vibrancy while exhibiting reasonably good length on the mildly rustic finish. To enjoy young.

Bright mid purple. Fresh red fruit, ripe enough but also savoury, attractive acidity and length. A pretty strawberry fruit with a touch of redcurrant. This will be bottled in December. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted Nov 2023.

The 2022 Bourgogne Pinot Noir comes from a single parcel and was de-stemmed. The light bouquet offers earthy red fruit that requires a little more fruité. The palate is medium-bodied with sharp acidity on the entry. It just needs a little more body and depth, especially on the finish.(NM)

Email AaronThis is such a compelling bottle for this price, it's got such amazing structure and depth and now towards the end of the day it's also got such a pretty nose that was a little closer earlier despite being double-decanted. The nose is richly layered, there's rose petals and a little touch of hibiscus here and there, the fruit is still the star of the show, lots of raspberry, pie cherry, and crunchy cranberry. The palate is pretty and bright, lots of cherry, little touches of cranberry skin, and some underripe raspberry along with some dusty fruit on the finish. There's a little hit of neutral oak roundness in there, and the whole thing is just a really pretty study in structure and finesse.
