Reviewed April 2024Clean on the nose, green stone fruits and some soft herbal elements. Peach pit and some crisp green apple. Tangy and alive, but not out of balance in terms of acidity despite the low pH. Lemon, citrus with a touch of salty, iodine notes that counteract the brightness. Complex - one to sit with and think about. I like the contrast of citrus, salinity and bitterness. Energy and fun - sharp, mouthwatering and clean. (GH)

The 2023 Grand Village Blanc is a powerful, deep wine endowed with quite a bit of texture. Far from an easygoing white, the 2023 has enough complexity to be extremely versatile. Hints of lemon confit, white flowers, almond and chamomile open with some coaxing, but more than anything else, the 2023 is a wine of structure. This is beautifully done. (AG)
