2023 Maison Verget Pouilly-Fuisse "Terres de Pierres"

Note: 95% from Fuissé. While there is a trace of reduction, it more easily allows the attractively floral-suffused nose of poached apple and pear aromas to be appreciated. The caressing and solidly energetic middle weight flavors are finer, if not quite as concentrated, while displaying a succulent mouthfeel before terminating in a balanced and lingering finish. This is pretty but not particularly complex so here too, a few years of keeping should help.
