The just-released 2014 Chablis Vieilles Vignes is showing very well, wafting from the glass with aromas of honeyed peach, green apples and oyster shell. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, bright and precise, with good depth at the core, lively acids and a saline finish. A classic rendition of the appellation, this is well worth seeking out.
