7 plots with just Petits Nosroyes apart. Mixed ages, mixed locations, mixed rootstocks. Pale colour, and nose taking some teasing out. Pure white fruit on the palate, a slightly more reductive feel at the finish, which builds complexity and tension. Still very youthful, but with promise.

This is one of the best values we have in Puligny Montrachet. Sourced from 7 vineyard plots and then blended together the Puligny Montrachet Composition Parcellaire is a fantastic wine value. Subtle notes of orchard fruit and wet stone start on the nose and move through to an energetic palate that sings Puligny Montrachet. the purity and delineation is so impressive that it is reminiscent of some of the top 1er Crus that come from this appellation at double and triple the price. If you feel like Puligny Montrachet has been priced out of your range grab a bottle of this!

Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "Vines on the Chassagne and Meursault sides bookend multiple parcels closer to the village – a view of the width of Puligny here.Like the Meursault, here we have an inviting floral perfume. Wide, a little more structured than the Meursault – an architecture. Less mineral but more intense with a juicy citrus finishing character. A (smallcase) strictness here vs the Meursault – this is dangerous wine! In terms of completeness maybe the Meursault is better today – but I’m splitting hairs."(09/2024)
