The Archette comes from vines planted just outside the appellation of Condrieu on the plateau above the region. Possessing the same soil types and utilizing all the same farming techniques, Clos de la Bonnette delivers a Condrieu quality wine for half the price. Notes of pear, and white flower persist. There is a lovely light tropical finish. Amazing flexibility for food pairing, one of my favorite pairings was a roasted fish with a curry spiced carrot puree. Delicious!
