2023 Troupis "Hoof & Lur" Moschofilero Peloponnese Greece
One of my favorite grapes from Greece is Moschofilero. It is overtly perfumed with an explosion of night jasmine and honeysuckle, but the wines are dry and have more acidity than other aromatic grapes like Muscat and Gewürztraminer. A great wine to pair with more exotic foods of course, but I still love it with charcoal grilled fish that has a sprinkling of oregano, lemon, and a glug of great olive oil.

Notes
Made in a dry Vin Gris style this native yeast fermented Moschofilero has an undercurrent of pink color from light skin contact. It is still its beautifully aromatic and exotic self. One of the best of its kind! Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Tasting notes from the producer: "Floral with powdered sugar and blood orange that entice on the nose. Citrus notes and fresh acidity add vibrancy to the palate."
