The 2022 Bourgogne Aligoté Champ Forey, matured in 300-liter used barrels, has a primal, grapefruit-scented bouquet that is only beginning to form its personality. The well-balanced palate has a fine bead of acidity, quite understated with a brisk lemon peel finish. Perhaps a bit short.(NM)
