A wonderfully fresh and bright nose is also very aligoté in character with its aromas of green apple, spice, lemon-lime and discreet floral influences. The almost painfully intense middle weight flavors exude evident minerality on the bone-dry and markedly austere finish that displays some of the best persistence in the range. I would note thought that this is sufficiently dry and austere that it may not appeal to all palates.*Burghound Outstanding!*

The vines are from the 1950s. Fresh lemon yellow. A pure clean mineral fruit, very clean strict white fruit, with a linear tension, and a little more texture to finish. A citrus note right at the back. Very refined and needs more elevage. Drink from 2026-2031. Tasted: November 2023.
