Native to the highlands of Kenya and Ethiopia, it grows wild in the highland forests of Kenya to a height of up to 25 meters. The Procera tree is the only juniper species indigenous to the southern hemisphere. This special plant has a distinctive nutty and earthy flavor that distinguishes it from the Juniperus Communis used in most modern gin.
