Review Date: 04/2025The 2023 Sylvaner Vieilles Vignes is from a single parcel of over 40-year-old vines rooted in a mix of clay and limestone. It was raised in large foudres and aged for ten months on lees. Lovely senses of limestone and fresh straw are beautifully alive with a touch of citrus. The palate, likewise, has a lemony verve, bringing brightness and subtlety, all with a smooth texture. This is brilliantly pure and elegant. (Bone-dry)(AK)

If you enjoy unoaked chardonnay, then try this rich and well-structured dry sylvaner. Excellent integration of healthy tannins on the palate, where the mix of positive vegetal and fresh orange peel aromas is fascinating. Long, bright and moderately dry finish. Definitely one for the dining table. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

This is a fantastic wine that is unique, fun and easy to enjoy! Wonderful aromas of waxy yellow fruits and hints of dried herbs give way to a vibrant palate of white flowers, hints of peach and passionfruit and just a hint of flint. A complex, layered wine that is amazingly approachable this is a great, different white that you're sure to enjoy.
