2013 Tenuta di Fiorano 'Rosso' Lazio

James Suckling
I love the ripeness to this with dried berries and tar. But there’s also real complexity, including orange peel, citrus and dried rose petals. Medium-to full-bodied and very elegant with structured tannins, plenty of fresh red fruit and a spicy, medium-chewy finish. Loving the elegance and vivacity. Drink now or hold.

Notes
Tenuta di Fiorano 'Rosso' Lazio is a prestigious red wine made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, cultivated on the volcanic soils near Rome. Known for its depth and complexity, it features aromas of dark berries, tobacco, and spice, with earthy and mineral undertones. The wine is full-bodied with firm tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, structured finish. With excellent aging potential, it pairs well with roast meats, game, and hard cheeses, making it a standout in the Lazio region.
