Buckner's is named for Revolutionary War Captain Philip Buckner, who donated 600 acres of land to establish the city of Augusta in 1797. The 10 Year is a benchmark bottling for a young but already highly sought-after Limited edition single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey sourced and bottled by Augusta Distillery in Augusta, Kentucky. Distilled at an undisclosed Kentucky distillery with a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley, it was aged 10 years in new charred American oak. Tasting notes from the distillery, "A nose of glazed puff pastry, rosemary, and canned peaches leads to a spike of mace and cinnamon spice on the palate with a finish of lemon and orange zest." Gold medalist at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength (ABV will vary barrel to barrel).
