Founded by Marco de Grazia, one of the pioneers who helped elevate Etna wines to global recognition, Terre Nere is one of the reasons why we are now talking about Etna being one of the best wine regions of the world. Etna Bianco is great, just the perfect white wine for me. Crisp but with a body, age is worth it but enjoyable now. On the nose, bursts with citrus, green apple, and white peaches, followed by hints of wild herbs, wet stone, and a touch of saline minerality. Aged primarily in stainless steel vessels, this wine stays true to Carricante’s natural purity. While incredibly refreshing now, it has the structure to develop beautifully over the next 5-8 years, gaining even more depth and complexity.
