The palate is broad, amply fuelled, rolls with a sure serving of dark red, mulberry, packed in fruit, is very persistent, lingering, the finish firm and compact. It’s a cooler than usual version of Méal. The attack is great – all fluid and iron together, an exciting moment, wakes you up, while there is a real surge on the finish, where it goes wham!
