Fragrant, almost-sweet aromas lead to ripe red cherries, strawberries and cinnamon on the palate. Generous, mouth-filling and full-bodied, with good underlying acidity and moderate tannins for an appetizing texture.

Always one of the better performing Pinot Noirs at this price point, this vintage offers minty raspberry jam and dark earth aromas on the lively nose. The flavors range from sagebrush and bay to richer black plum, rose petal and lavender on the palate. (MK)

The 2022 Pinot Noir Kali Hart is exuberantly fruited and fresh. Sweet cherry, raspberry, black tea and spice lead to a taut and tannic finish. The stress of the year is evident in the angularity of the clingy, dusty tannins. Still, the 2022 represents a relatively strong value in the world of domestic Pinot Noir. (BN)

Sourced from Talbott's Sleepy Hollow and Olson Ranch estate vineyards, Josh Reynold's writes on Talbott Chardonnay in Vinous: "If any winery can claim to be a pioneer of Monterey County, it’s Talbott, which was established in 1982, in Carmel. Seemingly overnight, Talbott set a new standard for California, indeed, American Chardonnay. Talbott’s impact on the world’s view of the variety from the Golden State was altered, unlike anything seen since Chalone Vineyards arrived on the scene in 1972. The Sleepy Hollow estate vineyard, which was originally planted in 1972, now sprawls across 565 acres and has always been the source for most of the winery’s fruit.
