The luxury and mineral-driven nature of Mesnil is on full display here, as squared against the Pur Avize and the Pur Oger counterparts. I fully recommend partaking in the horizontal tasting of all three of these Grand Cru village representations, as it is a rare opportunity to see the different terroirs in action. The Pur Mesnil shares a neighborhood with the likes of Salon and Krug, and that opulence is evident. But, do not be mistaken, the minerality and acidity hold up that opulence, making for a purely enjoyable experience.
