2023 Mas de Libian "Vin de Pétanque" Vin de France
Review Date: 10/2024
I love these little bargain wines from the Rhone! They always seem so unapparelled with the price to quality ratio. This one has nice red fruits with a clean raspberry core to brighten everything up. Clean and bright. as advertised, it is very nice with a 10–15-minute chill on it. Though that might make it a little too easy to drink.

Notes
The Thibon family acquired the Libian property in 1670, and in 1970 Jean-Pierre Thibon decided to wholly focus on wine production. Since then the estate has grown to 25 hectares of vineyards and 8 hectares of "nourishing" land planted to olive trees, vegetable and flower gardens, and grains to support organic and biodynamic viticulture. Mas de Libian began its biodynamic farming in 2005 and was shortly certified by Demeter afterwards. Vin de Pétanque was made to be served cool while playing pétanque with friends on a warm afternoon. Easy drinking, approachable, and fun, it's sure to enliven gatherings or porch lounging sessions. *Certified Organic* *Biodynamic* *Chillable Red*
