The 2022 Ladoix La Corvée 1er Cru, completely de-stemmed, has a perfumed, violet-tinged bouquet with a spring in its step. The medium-bodied palate has supple, fine tannins. It is fresh and vibrant, with a keen thread of acidity and a precise finish. This is a lovely Ladoix to enjoy over the next 12- to 15-years.(NM)

Moderate wood and menthol influences can be found on the ripe red berry fruit and earth-scented nose where a hint of kirsch lurks in the background. The medium-bodied flavors are rich to the point of opulence before tightening up on the dusty, lightly mineral-inflected and sneaky long finale that offers just a bit more depth.
