Notes
Bodegas Muga is one of Rioja’s most respected family-run wineries, founded in 1932 in the historic Barrio de la Estación in the heart of Haro. They are well-known for combining traditional winemaking methods with careful vineyard management and oak aging. Among its lineup of wines, "Prado Enea" stands out as the winery’s flagship Gran Reserva, produced only in the best vintages and representing the pinnacle of Muga’s craftsmanship. The grapes for "Prado Enea" are picked last in the harvest from high-altitude vineyards. After a meticulous double selection and traditional fermentation in large oak vats, the wine ages for three years in French and American oak barrels, followed by another several years in bottle before release.
