Think that you know what Merlot is all about? Once you taste the Merlot's from Farella, that notion will be put on its head. This marvelous, and very nicely priced Merlot is a winner for complexity and interest. The nose is dark, with red and black fruits, smoky cherry and some savory spices. In the mouth, quite complex with black cherries, blackberry, loam, cedar wood, more savory spices. Quite Pomerol-like!
