2021 Domaine Serene "Evenstad Reserve" Dundee Hills Pinot Noir

The 2021 Pinot Noir Evenstad Reserve is decidedly savory with a lovely blend of sage and shaved cedar complicating wild strawberries. It floods the palate with juicy textures and rich red berries propelled by vibrant acidity. Already wonderfully approachable, the 2021 Evenstad Reserve leaves an air of violet and lavender lingering over a coating of primary concentration as a web of fine-grained tannins adds a classically dry sensation. The 2021 aims to please while remaining wonderfully balanced throughout. 50% new French oak. (EG)
