Tasting note: A discreet application of wood sets off very pretty and airy aromas of plum, wild cherry and crushed fennel. The super-sleek, intense and wonderfully defined middleweight flavors seem to be built on a base of pungent minerality while delivering excellent length on the balanced and lightly austere finale. This needs better depth, but more should progressively develop with time in bottle. *Burghound outstanding!*
