Joel B Payne of Vinous writes: "Michaela Allram took over the family estate in its third generation with her winemaking husband Erich Haas in 1992. Among their 30 hectares of organic vineyards are choice parcels in both the Heiligenstein and Gaisberg sites. Although they export a majority of their wines, they're not as well known as some of their colleagues. That is a pity, for their wines are alluring and approachable and often among the finest produced in the Kamptal."
