Jorge Ordóñez, founded in 2004 in Spain’s Andalucía region, is renowned for its naturally sweet Moscatel wines from the Málaga DO, including the highly acclaimed Esencia cuvée. Produced on steep, slate-rich slopes in Axarquía, the winery’s range includes four numbered sweet Moscatels—some stainless steel-fermented and others oak-aged—originally created in collaboration with Austrian winemaker Alois Kracher.
