The 2019 Handley Estate Anderson Valley Pinot Noir maintains its balance as a luxuriously soft and rounded wine that doesn't feel needlessly bombastic or boozy. Creamy red cherries and juicy, ripe strawberries are immediately inviting on the nose alongside a touch of toasty oak spice, but dig a bit deeper and hints of the Mendocino forest start to peek through. The palate is immensely inviting, with all those soft red fruits enticing you from sip to sip. Oak spice, forest floor, and cherry all carry through the perfectly pleasant finish.
