Here too there is fine mid-palate volume to the delicious medium-bodied flavors that possess very good density while delivering excellent length on the balanced finale. The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Village has a bit more gumption on the nose compared to the Gevrey-Chambertin with lifted red berry fruit and touches of black tea. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine-boned with a citrus-freshness, hints of marmalade towards the finish. Fine. (NM)
