Reviewed January 2023The 2021 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Rouge Fontaine St Martin easily offers the finest bouquet of the Hautes-Côtes with quite delineated, minerally red fruit that are vivid and full of vigour. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, the oak neatly integrated, fine depth and grip with a sappy finish. This is very promising - deserves a couple of years in bottle. (NM)

Here the nose is at once slightly riper yet a bit more elegant as well with its combination of red and blue pinot fruit, spice and discreet floral hints. I very much like the texture of the energetic and slightly denser flavors that exude evident minerality on the dusty, lightly austere and sneaky long finale. Worth considering. *Burghound Outstanding!*
