The fabulous Found North blends have proven to be one of the most consistently exciting new American Whisky on the market today. Extremely small batches structured around one component designed to highlight the diversity and complexity of Canadian Whisky. In this case the main component represents only 4% of the blend, but is still the star of the show. The single barrel of 18 year old rye whisky finished for a few month in ex-Madeira cask is only a tiny part of the final blend, yet offers so much. That was married with a 22 year old corn whisky in new oak, 23 year old corn in ex-bourbon, and a 26 year old corn in Hungarian oak. To round out the blend a small amount of 19 year old rye aged in Hungarian. The result is something so much greater than the sum of its parts.
