The Isonzo del Friuli region is home to some of Italy’s most refined white wines, and Blason is a producer that captures the essence of this terroir through its Friulano. Friulano, once known as Tocai, is a signature grape of the region, prized for its complexity, texture, and food-friendly nature. The Blason Friulano Blasonato opens with aromas of white peach, almond blossom, and pear, complemented by a subtle herbaceous note of sage and cut grass. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied, with a silky texture and vibrant acidity, offering flavors of citrus, ripe apple, and the distinctive hint of almond that is characteristic of the Friulano grape.
