An elegant, pure and ripe nose reflects notes of cassis, poached plum, newly turned earth and a hint of allspice. Much like the Santenots, there is excellent volume and mid-palate concentration to the delineated and overtly mineral-driven flavors that exhibit fine complexity on the youthfully austere and mildly warm finale. This lovely effort is also reasonably firm and should age very well if perhaps not to the same extent as the Santenots. *Outstanding!*
