The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oliver Ranch Vineyard is stunning and graceful. Medium to deep ruby in color, its aromas unfold slowly, Morello cherry, blueberries and violet segueing to layers of eucalyptus, grilled meats, dried herbs and graphite. The full-bodied palate is generous but not overripe, with chocolate-textured tannins, bursts of fresh acidity and a long finish replete with loads of fine, spicy accents from its maturation in 80% new French oak. Bottled in August of 2021, this stunner promises long development in the cellar. (EB)
