Review Date: 11/2018I loved the 2016 Strayts, which stays lively and vibrant on the palate while still packing plenty of muscle and depth. Blackberries, black cherries, leafy herbs, and some dried soil notes all emerge from this Merlot-dominated blend (there’s 33% Petit Verdot and 6% Syrah) and it has ripe tannins, a layered, balanced texture, and a great finish.
