Notes

The anchor emblem of Veuve Clicquot was first chosen in 1798 by founder Philippe Clicquot as a cork mark long before labels and it remained in use when Madame Clicquot took the reins in 1805, a symbol of hope and continuity that still represents the house today. The enduring anchor reflects the maison’s commitment to its origins and traditions across more than two centuries. The 2015 Champagne vintage followed a mild, wet winter with a hot, dry summer; welcome rains late in the season helped the vines recover, producing ripe, concentrated fruit and generally generous wines.
