This Champagne is an absolute pleasure to drink. It is full of energy and flavor. Wonderful, dry but round, flavors are followed by a lively crisp and refreshing finish. It is a complex Champagne and has a lot to offer.

2014 Baron Fuente shows a beautiful golden kiwi color that reflects enchantingly in the glass. The nose has a caramelized pineapple, sweet ginger and passion fruit aroma with hints of toasted challah bread. The length and lingering mid-palate finish is seductively satisfying, keeps you wanting more. A blend of 45% Chardonnay, 40% Meunier and 15% Pinot Noir and entirely estate grown. This is Champagne drinkers keeper. Purchasing more than one and cellaring would be my recommendation for this yummy delectable Champagne.

Even after trying so many champagnes from the fantastic 2014 vintage, I never tire of them. This brand spanking new 2014 release from Baron Fuente is definitely no exception of my admiration. It has a wonderful nose of Honeycrisp apples with bread dough, toasted nuts and key lime. So fragrant! On the palate, it begins with lively acidity, followed by ginger candy and macadamia nuts. It then becomes more expansive and slightly more mouth-coating with pear cream. There is a lingering finish of bright acidity. It should be interesting to see what the dominant flavors are after a few years in the cellar. Great value!
