Reviewed May 2023Sourced from different vineyards than the Super Chill, the 2020 Pinot Noir Golden Hour comes across as warmer and more generous, with ripe black cherries and mint. It's a bit richer and fuller, nicely ripe and supple but also having more material—this is expansive in the mouth, lush and sexy. (JC)

Founded in 2018 by Jayson and Helen Woodbridge, Summer Dreams explores Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from small, hand-farmed vineyards along the rugged Sonoma Coast. Its hillside sites rise from 900 to 1,900 feet and are rooted in free-draining Goldridge sandy loam, sometimes layered over ancient seabed, while Pacific winds and fog help preserve freshness through the growing season. “Golden Hour” comes from the eastern ridge of the West Sonoma Coast, where its exposure and mix of Pommard, 777, and 828 clones produce a broader, riper expression of coastal Pinot Noir.
