The 2020 Syrah Bien Nacido, from the famed Z Block, shows the more brooding side of this Santa Barbara vineyard. Strong whole cluster accents lend tons of aromatic and savory nuance to play off a core of red/purplish fruit, incense, tobacco and dried flowers. This deep, flavorful Syrah packs a pretty huge punch. (AG)
