The nose on this is absolute ethereal, there's something really pretty and fleeting about it, like I'm smelling the ghost of a fresh strawberry, still fresh but every elusive to my eye. The palate however, is very down to earth and delicious, the fruit is riper than you would expect from the nose, but that's certainly welcome in my house. There's a really pretty ripe strawberry and just perfect raspberry playing together on the palate with a nice medium-plus kind of weight to the fruit. The finish is long and just a little tart at the very end as the acidity and fruit diverge a bit on the palate. This is just so lovely, and deserves a little bit more love and attention.
