This unsual vermouth is made by combining a base of red and white wine with two year old red Pineau des Charentes - the ancient delight from the Cognac region in France. It is then aromatized with a wonderful array of herbs and spices, sweetened with caramelized grape juice, and left to marry for months in ex-Cognac barrels.
